These Terms and Conditions define the rules for using the website and transport services provided by Taxi Toni Split. By using this website, contacting us, requesting a transfer, or booking a taxi service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. General information

Taxi Toni Split provides taxi transport, airport transfers, local transfers, private transfers, excursions and transport-related services in Split, Split Airport, Trogir, Okrug Gornji and other destinations by prior arrangement.

The information on this website is provided for general information purposes. We make reasonable efforts to keep all information accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that all content is always complete, current or free from errors.

2. Booking and service requests

A booking or service request can be made by phone, e-mail, contact form, WhatsApp or other available communication channels listed on the website.

A transfer is considered confirmed only after Taxi Toni Split confirms the booking directly by phone, e-mail, WhatsApp or another written communication channel.

When making a booking, the customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete information, including:

  • Full name
  • Phone number or e-mail address
  • Pick-up location
  • Drop-off location
  • Date and time of transfer
  • Number of passengers
  • Amount and type of luggage
  • Flight number, if the transfer is connected to an airport arrival or departure
  • Any special requirements, such as child seats or additional stops

3. Prices and payment

Prices displayed on the website are provided for informational purposes and may vary depending on route, vehicle type, number of passengers, waiting time, additional stops, night rides, traffic conditions, special requests or changes requested by the customer.

The final price should be confirmed before the transfer. Taxi Toni Split reserves the right to update prices at any time without prior notice.

Payment is made according to the agreement made during booking. Unless agreed otherwise, payment may be made directly to the driver after the service is completed.

4. Airport transfers and flight delays

For airport transfers, the customer should provide the correct flight number and arrival or departure time.

Taxi Toni Split will make reasonable efforts to monitor flight delays when flight details are provided. However, the customer remains responsible for informing us about major changes, cancellations or incorrect flight details.

Additional waiting time may be charged if the customer is delayed, cannot be reached, provides incorrect information, or changes the agreed pick-up time.

5. Waiting time

Reasonable waiting time may be included depending on the type of transfer and prior agreement. Additional waiting time may be charged if the customer is late or does not arrive at the agreed pick-up point on time.

If the customer cannot be contacted within a reasonable time after the agreed pick-up time, the booking may be treated as a no-show.

6. Cancellations and no-shows

Customers should cancel or change their booking as early as possible.

Taxi Toni Split reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee or no-show fee if the customer cancels too late, does not appear at the agreed location, provides incorrect pick-up information, or cannot be contacted.

If Taxi Toni Split needs to cancel a booking due to circumstances beyond our control, we will inform the customer as soon as possible and, where possible, assist with an alternative solution.

7. Customer obligations

Customers must behave respectfully toward the driver, vehicle and other passengers. Customers are responsible for ensuring that all information provided for the transfer is correct.

The customer must not:

  • Damage the vehicle or equipment
  • Distract or disturb the driver
  • Smoke inside the vehicle
  • Bring dangerous, illegal or prohibited items into the vehicle
  • Behave aggressively, offensively or in a way that endangers safety

Taxi Toni Split reserves the right to refuse or stop the service if the customer behaves inappropriately, endangers safety, refuses to follow reasonable instructions, or violates these Terms and Conditions.

8. Luggage and personal belongings

Customers are responsible for their luggage and personal belongings. Taxi Toni Split is not responsible for forgotten, lost or damaged personal items, except where damage is caused directly by proven fault of Taxi Toni Split.

Customers should inform us in advance about large luggage, sports equipment, baby strollers, bicycles, oversized items or any special luggage requirements.

9. Child seats and special requests

Customers should request child seats or any special requirements in advance. Availability of child seats or special equipment is not guaranteed unless confirmed by Taxi Toni Split before the transfer.

10. Cross-border transfers

For transfers outside Croatia, the customer is responsible for having valid travel documents, passports, visas or any other documents required for border crossing.

Taxi Toni Split is not responsible if the customer is denied entry, delayed or refused at a border due to missing, invalid or insufficient documents.

11. Delays and force majeure

Taxi Toni Split makes reasonable efforts to provide timely and reliable transport. However, we are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to traffic, road works, accidents, border controls, weather conditions, strikes, public events, vehicle breakdowns, flight delays, police controls or force majeure events.

Customers are responsible for planning enough time for airport departures, ferry departures, bus departures, meetings and other time-sensitive obligations.

12. Website use

The content on this website may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission from Taxi Toni Split.

We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or free from technical errors. We may update, change or remove website content at any time.

13. Third-party links

This website may contain links to third-party websites or services, such as WhatsApp, maps, social media platforms or external tools. Taxi Toni Split is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, security or availability of third-party websites.

14. Limitation of liability

Taxi Toni Split is liable only for direct damage caused by proven fault, intent or gross negligence, in accordance with applicable law.

Taxi Toni Split is not liable for indirect damage, lost profit, missed flights, missed ferries, missed meetings, delays caused by external circumstances, loss of personal belongings, inaccurate customer information, or any damage caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes liability where such exclusion is not permitted by applicable law.

15. Complaints

Any complaint regarding the service should be submitted as soon as possible by e-mail to: info@taxitoni.hr

The complaint should include the customer’s name, date and time of service, route, contact details and a clear description of the issue.

16. Privacy and personal data

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our website or services, you acknowledge that your personal data may be processed for the purpose of communication, booking, service delivery and legal obligations.

17. Changes to these Terms and Conditions

Taxi Toni Split may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The updated version will be published on this page and will apply from the date of publication.

18. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia.

In case of any dispute, the parties will first try to resolve the matter amicably. If this is not possible, the competent court in Croatia shall have jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
